This video walks you through a game as I play it. But this isn't just a walk thru of a game. I designed this game to show you some of the basic, and important, concepts of game design for maximum player enjoyment. It is a game I designed with FPS Creator and it shows some of the basic concepts of designing your games for maximum enjoyment and playability. You have to consider many of the psychological concepts behind game making when you are making games.Some of the concepts include using color as a suspense building tool, rewarding ingenuity of your player and encouraging the player to manipulate the environment.
